    Also known as a buck converter, a step-down converter efficiently changes one level of voltage into another. This compact step-down DC-DC converter has an input voltage of 24 VDC nominal (range 20 VDC to 37 VDC) to a highly regulated output voltage of 12 VDC nominal at five amps.

    This 24V to 12VC DC to DC converter from AIMS Power has an aluminum case for optimal cooling. With this DC to DC converter, 24V to 12V step-down is easy and safe.

    The unit includes a terminal block for DC input and output connections and an LED power indicator. Safety features include output short protection, input low and high battery shutdown and more.

    This a non-isolated five-amp DC-DC converter. It is made for use in negative ground systems.
